Q-Safe Terms & Conditions

Agreement

These terms and conditions form the agreement between Q-Safe Electrical Testing and Tagging (“us” “we” “our”) and our clients (“Client” “you” “your”) and commence from your acceptance of our quote or proposal and continue until termination. We may vary these terms and conditions from time to time without prior notice so we recommend that Clients check our website for the current version.

  1. For the purposes of these terms and conditions
    • ‘Q-Safe’ refers to Q-Safe Electrical Testing and Tagging
    • ‘you’ refers to the customer.
    • ‘GST’ refers to the Goods and Services Tax as defined by the Australian Tax Office (ATO).
  2. Introduction
    • These Terms apply to all transactions of any nature with Q-Safe.
    • You must know, understand and comply with these General Terms and Conditions, as they are a binding agreement between you and Q-Safe.
  3. Trading Terms
    • Q-Safe requires payment within either 14 days or 30 days of the invoice date as noted on the invoice (unless otherwise agreed to by you and Q-Safe prior to the service being provided).
      • It is currently Q-Safe policy for invoices below $1,000 to be payable in 14 days and for invoices above $1,000 to be payable in 30 days.
    • Invoices not paid within these trading terms shall be considered overdue.
    • Q-Safe reserves the right to request that a credit application be completed on you.
    • Q-Safe has the right to deny credit at any time.
  4. Quote
    • The quote is based on the best known equipment numbers as provided by you and unless otherwise specified should only be considered an estimate. Q-Safe will invoice based on the actual number and type of tests performed as detailed in the Q-Safe invoice.
    • Should parking not be provided on the day the test is performed, parking costs may be included on your invoice for payment by you.
    • Q-Safe pricing as quoted and invoice does not include GST. Currently GST is not payable on Q-Safe invoices.
  5. Overdue Invoices
    • Q-Safe reserves the right to forward all overdue accounts to a solicitor or debt collection agency.
    • All costs associated with the recovery of overdue accounts (including forecast commissions) shall be your responsibility for payment.
    • Q-Safe reserves the right to charge interest on overdue accounts (based on the current General Interest Charge Rate used by the ATO for taxation monies overdue).
  6. Invoice Queries
    • If you have a query about an invoice issued by Q-Safe, please raise this within 7 days of receipt of invoice by emailed to testing@ q-safe.com.au or in writing to:

      Our expectation is to have your query addressed within 2-5 business days of receipt of your enquiry.
  7. Testing & Tagging Minimum Charge & Cancellations
    • Q-Safe reserves the right to charge a minimum fee of $100 for on-site testing & tagging work when the total value of work carried out is less than the minimum charge.
    • The minimum charge may also apply when a job is cancelled without adequate notice. Q-Safe requires a minimum of 24 hours notice for all job cancellations.
